So yeah... definitely been 4 months since I wrote a reminder to myself to update... haha. Go figure. Anyways... wow. A lot has happened since then. A /lot/. So the last thing I talked about was work and prom. Well in the end, I never got to talk to Kyle. But that's okay. Because I definitely don't like him anymore. Haha. Well... I don't think so. I haven't seen him since Prom much. Haha. But seriously, I like someone else. Someone at work. Which is the next story I shall tell you because it's oh so important. 
So to begin with, work was going quite well. I was getting along with all of my coworkers and they all like me. Not a bad word is ever said about me apparently, which is good. They all complain about each other to me though. So I get to hear all of the dirt. Haha. Anyways, I work[ed] with a total of 8 people. That's all kinda changed since it's no longer Lawn and Garden season and I'm no longer a cashier and other people have moved to other departments. But I'll get to all of that later. So anyways, in early July, I go into work as usual. My Supervisor Lisa comes up to me and gives me this look- the look that says she knows something and I immediately know what it is. You see, I happen to like one of the guys I work with, Mike, and I had told a total of two people that I liked him- Alyssa, the other cashier and Steven, the door greeter. Of the two, I immediately suspected Alyssa as a traitor. So anyways, Lisa gives me this look and I'm freaking out.
"What?!"
"Oh nothing. You just look really cute today."
"Uh huh. Sure. Now seriously."
"Really. You look cute today. You just looked and felt so blah yesterday..."
"Yeah. BS. Seriously."
Anyways, Alyssa comes up and says "She knows you like Mike." Now some background on Lisa. She is little-miss-matchmaker. Hardcore. She had been trying to hook up Alyssa with Rory and this girl named Leeann with Mike. Now, about the Leeann and Mike thing. This is a very important side story. So early that month, Lisa had decided that since Mike is such a good kid and so is Leeann, that they would be a perfect match. Leeann was the girl who came in and watered plants. She happened to /really/ like Mike as well. So when Lisa figured this out, she went up to Mike and told him that Leeann liked him and asked him if he would consider going out with her. He flat out told her No. When Lisa asked why, he told her that "Leeann isn't my type." and Lisa asked what his type was and he said something about pretty eyes or something. So that was that. Anyways, back to the original story. I flipped out after I realized Lisa knew and I was terrified she had told him. Anyways, I was like "Oh. Okay. Why couldn't you tell me that?" And she gave me the look again. So I was like "What?!?!" And she said, "I was talking to Mike." In my head I was like "Oh crap. She told him. He knows. It's going to be awkward." Then she says "Remember how I was telling you about Leeann and how she really liked Mike and he said she wasn't his type? Well, I was asking him why he didn't like Leeann again and he had replied 'I told you my type right' and I said 'Yeah.' and he was like 'And...?' and then it hit me. 'Do you like someone else who works back here?' and he got this big smile on his face. I asked who, but he said he wouldn't tell me even if I guessed. But I'm pretty sure it's you." Anyways, I was in utter shock. Haha. Then she was like "But don't say anything. He told me if I told anyone, he'd never trust me again." So anyways, I was quite happy. Obviously. And then I find out later that it was Steven who told Lisa... in front of Mike. So Mike flat out /knew/ I liked him. But apparently, he had a big grin on his face. So that's good, right? Well, I thought so because the next day, I clock in and I'm working outside and Alyssa comes back from lunch and gives me this look. Once again, I flip. "What do you know now!?" So anyways, she wouldn't tell me. I begged for quite literally an hour. Then finally, I broke her down enough and she told me the following: "Lisa talked to Mike and he said he was interested." "Okay. Does that mean he's going to ask me out?" "I dunno. I think so. But don't tell Lisa I told you, because she wants to see your face when and if he asks you out." It doesn't even hit me right then and there. It takes another hour for it to hit me. And when it does, I get butterflies and I start "glowing" as Alyssa said. Haha. So anyways, I waited for about a month. And he never asked me out. And I was getting pissed. Haha. It became really obvious that he liked me. He always had this look on his face whenever he saw me and it was just really cute. Haha. So on the 13th this month, me and him were working the same shift. The night before, my friend and I argued for an hour about this whole Mike thing. She thought I should just ask him to get ice cream. But I argued that that /was/ a date and I didn't want to be the first to ask him. So finally, I came up with a plan that satisfied me. So anyways, when I get in to work I go up to Mike and I say the following:
"Hey Mike. Do you want to do me a huge favor?"
"What?"
"You don't have to do it today or anything but sometime in the near future..." He got this goofy grin on his face right about here... "do you want to show me around JJC (my college)? I've only been there like twice and I really don't even know how to get there... and I would only ask Alyssa (another co-worker) if my life depended on it." He laughed and then said sure.
So anyways, lunch time came around and I told him I was clocking out for lunch and he said he might as well clock out too. So he clocked out and then I clocked out and he was standing there and he said the following:
"Well, since you made me clock out I guess your stuck with me."
"Oh darn" I said it /quite/ sarcastically.
"So what were your plans for lunch?"
"Um... I didn't really have one"
"How can you go to lunch without plans?"
"Haha. I dunno. I do it all the time. What were your plans?"
"Um... I didn't really have plans either. Haha."
"Alright. Well where do you want to go?"
"Hmm.... the Pagoda House."
"I've never had Chinese food before..."
"Then you have to go"
So anyways, he drove. We got out of the car and he held open the door for me. We ate. He paid. We went back to work and he gave me his number for me to call him the next day when I was ready to go to JJC. So anyways, I called him the next morning and we left. We explored the main campus. We dropped by his friend's house and went to Steak & Shake. He paid again. Then we went over to the North campus. And the he asked me if there was anything else I needed to do and I told him no but I don't really want to go home. So he was like well then what do you want to do. I have about an hour before I need to get back. And I said let's go to the park! Because we have this cool park that's 3 levels high. So we went to the park and talked for an hour and just hung out. It was nice =). I like him. A lot. I really wish he'd offically ask me out though. It'd be nice =). But yeah... that's my story =).
In other news, I have started college. Monday was my first day. I'm taking English 101, Math 170 (Calculus), CIS 122 (Beginners in Microsoft Office and programming), Art 107 (Graphic Design), and Mus 121 (Applied Voice... basically private voice lessons). I also tried out for the Chamber Choir... which is like the top choir. I made it =). I'm also going to be in the JJC Chorale... which is open to anyone. I have to memorize like... a million songs. It'll be awesome. Well... I think it'll be awesome. Anyways, that's it. I'm done =). Haha. Sorry it's been so long. It'll probably be a while before I blog it up again. Haha.

Hey everyone =). Hope you all had a great May Day/Beltane 
. I didn't really get a chance to celebrate it since I had work. But I got my first paycheck. A grand total after taxes of $205.93 . Haha. But I'm angry at my dad because he won't let me get a checking account because he said I don't need to spend money on a debit card. I think I need one for emergency situations though. So I'm going to convince him to let me get one. It'll be fun 
. So I finally downloaded most of The Mitch Hansen Band's music. I'm listening to Lullaby right now in my Digital Moviemaking class since Mr. Brady isn't here 
. And my partner isn't here either. So anyways, that's my update for now. I dunno. It'll probably be a while before I update again. Probably.

Alright. It's been a while. Let's see... Saturday was Prom. Haha. That was interesting. So I get there with Sav and Josh and we hang out with Jake and Dan and I go find Melissa and kinda hang out with her since her group ditched her for the most part. Anyways, so I'm standing there talking to Melissa when I see Kyle. Now normally, this wouldn't be such a big deal but two things had happened before Prom. First, I offered to Josh that I would take him if he wanted to go, but Kyle was sure he wasn't going. So I wasn't expecting him. After I had said this to Josh, I realized that I didn't feel that rush of adrenaline I always feel when he's involved, since unfortunately, I had liked the kid since the third grade. It doesn't help that he lives across the street from me, but regardless, I thought I was over him. After I see him show up at Prom after he said he wasn't going, I basically screamed "F*!@" for two reasons- one, I was just completely caught off guard and two, I realized I still liked the kid. Now the screaming was a surprise to Melissa, because I never swear. And by the time I said it, he was too far away to hear. He was at our table because he's best friends with Josh, Jake, and Dan. So anyways, I'm sitting behind Sav talking to Melissa. Apparently, Kyle turned to Sav and said "I'm sorry." Now, take into account the fact that Savonnah has never met or talked to this kid in her entire life. So she's like "For what?" And, this is what Sav told me, he apparently glanced towards me, gave her one of those looks, and said again "I'm sorry." That was it. WTF DID HE MEAN BY THAT?!?! So anyways, yeah. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Sav thinks he meant something like "We're cool." kinda thing. But I dunno. Sav doesn't think it was anything bad. But what does he have to apologize for? If anyone should be apologizing, it should be me. I've done so many stupid things. Most of them were because I thought it would make the kid like me, but I was a stupid, immature, 5th grader. I dunno. But now, I know I have to talk to the kid. Because if I don't, I'll regret it for sure.
But that was the big thing that happened to me. Of course, Sav forgot all about that the second Jake and her started making out. Go figure. She ended up spending the night at my house, and all she talked about was her and Jake. He ended up calling her at like 3 in the morning asking her out. And I was happy for her, really I was. But she cares too much about herself and not others around her. And that's fine. That's her personality. But I was like... crying. Constantly. And she didn't even realize it. She still doesn't realize it. Mostly because her and Jake have already broken up because Josh was being a 5-year-old. Because Josh liked Sav, and actually tried kissing her after the Winter Formal. But Sav turned him down. And she was still really cool with him. But then she started realizing she liked Jake, who was in Josh's and her music tech class. They call him Ugly Jake. Haha. But anyways, she ended up, as I have said, making out with Jake. And Josh was upset. So Jake figured Sav wasn't worth his and Josh's friendship. Which I can understand. Especially with the way Sav completely ditched Josh. Josh was her date to Prom, and she made out with Jake multiple times in front of him. So I mean, they're both at fault. Whatever. Jake is pretty much the only one who didn't do anything wrong. Well, with Sav. But whatever.
Then I ditched on Monday, because it was senior ditch day. My mom didn't call me in, because I told her not to. So I was in BIC (Internal Suspension) for the day. I didn't mind. I actually got a lunch, which is something I never get. So that was exciting. Mostly I ditched with the hope that Kyle would have ditched like the rest of his friends, but he didn't. So oh well. I really want to talk to him. And apologize. Because I feel even worse than before about the past. I have such a guilty conscience. Anyways, Saturday is Senior Dinner Dance. I have to work. Haha.
Oh! So speaking of work, I haven't even said anything about work. So since my shadowing experience, I've been working by myself in the Lawn and Garden area of Wal-Mart. It's been nice. I like it for the most part. I get, on a warm day, an average of like 20 customers in 4 hours. The other day, since it was cold, I rang up a total of like 5 people. So it's fairly slow back there. But the in stock guys, Curtis and Jake, are cool. Jake is actually dating a friend of mine. Well, kinda. I only met her once before this job, at Mandi's birthday party. And so I talk to her at work and stuff. She's pretty cool. Although... she's a cubs fan. Haha. So that's kinda sucky.
But yeah. I'm going to go now. I probably won't update again until after the senior dinner dance. Hopefully, maybe I'll have pictures. And wow! I didn't use a single smiley. Haha. It's not a very happy blog, so maybe it's a good thing. But I'm going to go now. Later!

So... I got no sleep last night. Haha. It's pretty funny because whenever I don't get any sleep, I have more energy. It's kinda weird 
. Anyways, yeah. OH! So my computer works again. Even better than before it broke when I got it "fixed" last time. Haha. DVDs and certain programs wouldn't work on my computer. But now, everything works. My internet works better too. So I'm quite happy . Haha. Actually, the DVD was the first thing I tried after putting my computer back together. Which is weird... since the DVDs refused to work for the longest time and it was the power supply that died for sure... the motherboard was just incase. But apparently, it was all because of the motherboard 
. Haha. But yeah.
So on Saturday, I had to work from 4-8. They had me shadowing someone and about 10 minutes into it, she told me to get on the register. Haha. Then 15 minutes later, she went on her break. And then she left for good at 6:30. So I was on my own. It was a lot of fun though. I really liked talking with the customers. And I'm pretty good at it too. Which is all that really matters 
. Haha. While I was at work, my mom and Joanne went to see 21. That was such a good movie. No joke. But my mom liked it alright. She said it wasn't very thrilling to her... but she is over 50- 52 to be exact. Haha. My parents are so old 
. Haha. My dad is 57.
On Friday, I went to Meg's college to go to this India Night. Bringing Back India. Haha. It was really cool. I wish I could do all of those dances. They're very... I dunno. Amazing. Haha. Actually, Meg told me that their musical scale has a ton more notes than our scale. Which is why, if you've ever heard Indian music, it sounds kinda weird. But... yeah. I'm actually going to go now. I'm going to paste my chicago pictures into a slide show. I'll also post some of the ones that I liked on here. I might blog again later this week. I'm going to have a bunch of time on Thursday.
