Group Info

Well, if you're here, you are probably wondering what a group is, how you can be in a group, what you do in a group, or all of the above =). Here is where you can find all of that information!

First of all, there are four groups that you may choose from:

» Blue Group
» Purple Group
» Black Group
» Newbie Group

All of them do basically the same thing with the exception of the Newbie Group. The Newbie Group is the group you are automatically in when you join. It is- more or less- there to teach the new members how the guild works. You are in this group until the season ends. Once the six month period is completed, you may choose a group. But choose wisely, as once you join that group, you cannot join a different one. If you joined a month before the six month period ended, you may stay in the group until the end of that next six month period. Although if you get the hang of it, you may transfer to your new group whenever. Your points will get tranfered to that group as well. You won't lose your points =).

Now let me explain what you do in a group. Each group varies, as each leader will do something different than the other group. One leader may decide to do competitive competitions for a group, one may decide to just have non competitive activities. The leaders may decide to have their own point system. It all depends on the leader. But anyways, groups could consist of some group meetings, activities, and other things. Each group is competeing to win the group prize. This is a whole seperate activity. This is not at all like the other groups you may see in other guilds where you earn points for just the group. Nope =D. Instead, everyone earns their own, individual points. These points are explained on the points pages. But anyways, at the end of every six month period, I will add up everyone's unspent points within a group, and the group who's members has the most total points will win the group prize. So when you earn points, try and save some for the group.

Now, to be in a group, you have to have the following:

» Been in the guild for at least 1 month (period has to end!)
» Your Newbie Pack
» Your member page sent in to me (make sure that you either neomail me or e-mail me so that I can get that from you!)
» Activeness in the guild
» Earn points. Otherwise, there is no point! (PUN!)

If you do have all of the above, then you may go back and apply at the Application page!

Now when I say period/semester, I am refering mostly to the point competition. This particular competition runs for 6 months. So when I say "Been in the guild for at least 1 month (period has to end!)", I mean you have to have a full month in the guild, but you can't choose a group until the period ends. So if you join on May 31^st, that means that once June ends, you can choose a new group. But if you join in July, you cannot choose a group until January.
